Shrink Wrapped in DeSoto

I should have taken the wetsuit to the pool tonight. We practically had the place to ourselves.
I did try it on after the swim. Just to make sure it was close to the right size. It seems to fit well. I'll have to work on getting it on without the creases. Of course the real test is in the pool. I need to make sure water doesn't pool within the suit. Doesn't seem like there is room to do that, but I'll reserve judgement. More later.

Thanks,
I'll spare everyone the comparison picture poolside at the Morgantown race last August.

You wouldn't spare us, you would inspire us!

Oh, I just thought, how good is that going to feel to go the 20th reunion looking like this, not wearing the wetsuit, the weight, you know what I mean.

20th Reunion:
Which reminds me I've got to stop at Brooks Brothers to see if it's worth tailoring my suit.
If they can't tailor it, do I call buying a new suit yet another Triathlon Expense?
Maybe I should wear the wetsuit?

If I could get back on plan tracking every meal, I would have a shot at being my HS weight of 170 by July. At the moment I'm not looking to lose quickly tho'. I'd rather have the energy for the workouts.
170 by the Tango could be possible.

Looks good! How does it fit compared to the Zoot?

I'm definitely considering going back up to SBR next week, just to get another comparison. Here is what I think, I think.

Keep in mind this is not the top of the line DeSoto. This is their "economy" Black Pearl. So it is half the price of the Zoot.

The Zoot seemed thinner, tighter and perhaps more flexible through the shoulders.

The DeSoto seems to be thicker overall, rather than "paneled" like the Zoot. Which makes me think it could be warmer and more buoyant.

I do have to say, getting in and out of the DeSoto was much easier for me. Perhaps that's because of the nice step by step video instructions on the DeSoto Website. Or maybe it's because it's much more similar to how you typically undress.
I could see choosing to bypass the wetsuit strippers with the DeSoto.

That's my preliminary assessment. Let's see if all that holds up after a test swim.
