Shouldn't we be hearing about Craig's bike soon?

Just curious when the expected arrival is.

FedEx would not leave without a signature yesterday.

The guy I bought it from sent me a note right away. Hey I'm shipping it out Monday (1/21), I will drop you the tracking # when I do it. So, I am caught up in House Heating project and wake up Friday 1/25, realize no tracking #.

Hey dude where's my tracking #, you seemed so on it, what happened. Reply, my daughter a state away was hit by a drunk driver the Sunday before I was going to ship Monday, I have been out of town all week, her condition was dim, but she got better.

Then, said all packed up coming to you, will get you tracking #.

So yesterday I get tracking #, with a statement from him, it is to be delivered Thursday. I try tracking #, Fedex doesn't know and doesn't register the #.

So, on the way home I am contemplating what should I do. Should I tell him his tracking # is bad, or should I see if it comes Thursday.

The answer was a third unknown option, a door knob slip saying we were here to give you your bike, but you weren't home, please sign and we will leave your bike on the front porch for someone to steal like UPS WOULD DO!

So, Tamara guaranteed she would be home all day today, of course if she lets the dog loose he won't let the truck up the driveway. Rrrrrrrr!(I am trying out sound affects in my writing, what do you think)

So nothing to really report, you should hear about Craig's bike pretty soon.

Got the bike last night. I'm going to really drag this out, because I didn't get a chance to open the package. Then at 9:30 I carried it into the basement and was too tired to open, so I went to bed.

I thought I will save this for the weekend maybe tonight.

Well, Tamara calls at 9 am and says water is pouring into the basement (we got a nice storm last night/today). With the ground being frozen the water has run across the surface and down into an area where the block of the house is exposed, because I wanted to tar the wall while I had it cleared for the heat pump. Well the weather has not been condusive to tarring.

So, I also did not totally water proof the opening's into the basement, by not totally waterproof I mean I stuffed insulation in the air gap. I figured I would do this when I tar up the outside.

Well back to the frozen ground. Water wouldn't absorb into the ground so when the hole was filled with water and the insulation gave out, water came into the basement. It went straight to the floor drain. Luckily Tamara went down stairs because the bike was still on dry land but the flood waters were getting close. Because it was so light she moved it to a dry location.

Now, I went home at lunch and inserted a garbage can with holes cut in the sides and dropped a sump pump down the hole and pumped water into the yard. It quit going in the basement.

I may not see the bike tonight, because I am now at work making up the time I spent at home and when I get home I will finish cleaning up the basement floor (the water had some mud in it).

So, you should hearing about Craig's bike soon.
