Swim Training

I thought I had posted this before. Working up to swimming a mile.
Zero to 1650
I just wanted to have this on the blog so I can find it easily in the future.

I like this way of thinking. If the mile is only 1500 meters ( instead of 1609), then the 1/2 IM swim distance for me is only 1800 meters. It feels like the 1/2 IM just became 10% easier,....well considering swimming is my roughest area 15% easier!

In reality, I like the plan and may try it with a couple of adjustments.

I definitely like the idea of less kick. I agree with it completely. If I use the pull buoy I can breathe every 3 for 500yds no problem.
Make me kick to keep my legs inline and now I'm fighting for air again.
I'm looking forward to a buoyant wetsuit!
