The new running shoes

It's still early but I have to say that I am really surprised at how much better my left foot feels running in these. At the same time, the muscles responsible for shin splints are feeling tight. I can't say whether this is because of the shoes or not. It could be from pushing hard on my Brick workout the other day. Another week and I should know for sure. I may find out that changing shoes a week before a race is a bad idea.
