Is this the end?

So what?..Is this the end of the road for everyone except Matt and I?

I admit, I might take a breather after the Timberman, but now we have all these new recruits who need to get in shape? Where are the burning questions? Where are the training updates? I want to see some chatter on this blog!

Sorry, I've taken a nap since the Tango. Chris J and I are doing the TURFF adventure race in Pittsburgh tomorrow and Saturday.
Tomorrow's prologue is a 34 ft climb of the "pinnacle" at REI. Saturday will be a bunch of navigation and 1.5 mi of paddling ( 3 checkpoints) 23 mi of biking. ( lots of checkpoints) and 6.8 mi of HILLY running (more checkpoints). This is a rogaine format (nothing to do with re-growing hair) and you have 3 hours to get as many points as possible. You are docked 1 pt for each minute you are late getting back!!

In unrelated news, ...I've hired a swim coach. First lesson is next Tuesday. Maybe a half iron next year for me?? Probably not,...but you never.

Since I have posted anywhere else, yet. Great job to all of you at the TANGO. I had a great time and it was nice seeing all of you again. Some great stories and performances.

Good luck with your race this weekend Jim!

If there are new people that would like to post just let me know and we can get them on the Author list.

I'm training......just not posting yet. Matt-I need to be added to the author list.
2010 Goals:
#1 Mooseman swim (assuming schedule will allow) This is important because it will help to address my fear of open water swimming.
#2 Brookville Triathlon-this is for a good cause ($$ goes to help children of Western PA). This will be my first Tri. Lots of training to do. I have found a 10 week program that I think I will use.
#3 Tango--I want to do this again. I am considering the swim but given Maija's awesome times not sure I can deliver. Mooseman will help to determine.(although not even 1/2 the distance of the Tango swim from hell). I will again do the canoe leg UNLESS we can get Thad's sisters in with us.
#4 Running-participate in Running series in Warren (Diane Kelly, Cinco de Mayo, Half Marathon-well maybe not this one)
#5 Learn to ride a road bike (when I get one).

So those are my BIG goals. I hope to achieve all at some level.
