I have no reason to believe I should ever swim again. Bad, bad, BAD!

So we need to find out if there was a current. There is no reason my swim was that bad other than 80% of the swim was into a current.

The Run split includes the T2 time, I'm fairly certain of that.
Also this was longer than 10K. I believe my run was just shy of 58 minutes on my watch and the pace was, 8:43.

I'll put up a race report tonight when we get back to. NJ

Craig, did you notice that your swim rank and my run rank were exactly the same?

So if you shouldn't ever swim again, I guess I shouldn't ever run again.

Hey, now that I mention it, that doesn't sound like a bad idea.

Looks like I might be able to be an okay swimmer if I learn how to do it right. I was in the top 100. Woohoo!

My neighbor Joel is sure two gates were open, due to the rain. I also choose 24 mins and saw how many finished under that this year in the top 50 places. It was 7. Last year in the top 50, 16 were under 24. I also looked at seven people I knew that did both. All but one had a worse time. Most were about 2 mins slower on the swim.

If T2 was with the run, which I am sure it was, it still doesn't help my run any, because I was really quick in the transition, which is odd because I was so slow on the run. Darn Devil! He got me or maybe he didn't. Maybe there was some soul selling going on.

Craig, are you taking your wetsuit to Warren this weekend?
We plan on staying until Monday now. Weather permitting we can get some swimming in.
It's rained every day up there for 2 weeks. The river is running muddy out of the reservoir, which doesn't happen often.

I was planning on it. I would take it cold water or not because I still need the floating ability it gives me.
