My birthday is Monday and I already got a little money. I need to get a HR monitor.

What is up with the elevation going up an you HR going down on the bike? Must be more a function of how high it was coming out of the water with the reduction once you got moving on the bike.

Your run, you can really see the jump with the effort at the end. Thank you for Sharing.

I think the high HR at the beginning of the bike is because the blood hasn't loaded to my legs yet. So the heart is having to work harder than it should at first.
The other factor could be that I have all of 10 minutes of leg power. Then I end up dropping my power to a level I can maintain.
I should be able to be find out more as I start doing some riding outside. The graphs are definitely helpful.

Yeah, at the end of the run, I decided to chase down the woman in front of me. I knew the course was completely flat at that point and I had been watching my HR along the way and I knew I could push it higher for a short time.
I felt that the push was fairly well timed.
