I think this guy advocated switching sides every three.

When I am not tired this all makes sense. I can even get 17 & 18 stroke count lengths. It is when I am tired that I struggle. He did get me thinking about how I breathe when I'm tired. I am laying hard on my side and sometimes jerking my head out of the water for the breathe.

I also catch my self not exhaling under the water when I am tired. In one sense I need more practice or drills and in another sense it seems like I need more endurance.

I should have taken up golf, when you get frustrated you just stop and buy a beer and it doesn't matter as much.
