My Dad has offered to have us down to the cottage for Burgers & Dogs if that is something everyone would like to do. Family is welcome. It would be good to get an idea how many folks will be down if we decide to do that.
If anyone else has another plan for us that evening let me know. I was just thinking my Dad's cottage has some room to run around. Croquet and Canoes....

I'm definitely down with that. My roommate (from Turkey) is still deciding whether to come up for the race, since his Mom is visiting right now, and it might be kind of logistically challenging to get everyone everywhere and deal with the sleeping arrangements, etc, but it will either be two or four for us. I'm betting two at the moment. Calories will be looking good that evening.
It sounds great, but I don't know if I will be able to or not. I thought I was going to be able to stay through Sunday, but something came up at work and I need to be back at the office on Monday.
I am down with that, also. It will be myself, and two children. Mom & Maddy are having a big girls weekend with me and the younger ones gone.
I will offer, then let my mom know, that if you would like we could have a pre-race dinner Friday night up at the Kinzua-Wolf Run Marina before the meeting at the Y. I think I am going to get up before 2pm. A 5pm pasta dinner on the lake would be nice. Let me know if you are interested & I will let mom know. Don't worry, as Shawn knows if you tell them you are with Tony Cerra you don't have to pay to get into the Marina.
Tara and I are in for a pre-race dinner at Docksiders (we'll leave the kids at grandmas house - unless everyone else is bringing their kids too). I am planning on being in town by 1-ish. Before dinner I am going to drive up Hemlock to refresh my memory on the elevation and road conditions.
Genine and I can attend the pre-race dinner as well.
Should we bring anything? Protein Drinks? Power Bars? Ha!
Also I'd like to say again that for the post race party, feel free to invite family down. I know it's only so often that you make it to Warren so the family time is important too.
Just give me a bit of a heads up as to how many might show up. Oh and Beer preference if you are picky.
