Knees seem to be the topic lately. I came across this in the NY Times today. FYI, I typically not a fan of their health articles. They never seem to have a conclusion. It's always just food for thought. Here it is anyhow.
Interesting article...I'm sitting testing out my knee...yep the grinding/cracking is still there... I am, however, pleased to report that I no longer have to hold on for dear life as I descend the stairs. Of course the shot may simply be masking the problem. I told Jordan last night (after picking him up from his evening workout...) that I will begin my routines next week. I would like to reintroduce light running and see how it goes (maybe I'll have to limit myself to the treadmill at first)and some spinning. Feeling like a SOFT BUM right now....
Jerry continues to P90X....he is REALLY "compacting" his body (leaning up and challenging existing muscles along with greatly improving his flexibility thanks to Yoga)...Just a little jealous!!!
A bunch of interesting comments to that article as well.
I've been doing underhand pullups for a few days now and they have been going well. So I decided to try overhand... I couldn't complete one without pain in my left bicep. I guess it's time to see a doctor about my foot and that arm. Just so I have a better idea of what's going on.
As for Jerry compacting using P90X, I'm going the opposite way... This home project has to end. (even if that's just a poor excuse for my poor eating choices).
Is there light at the end of the tunnel? I hope so. WE just got a quote to replace our windows. they said it would take 2-3 days to complete. I have to admit I am a bit scared given your current situation and my past history. Jerry will coordinate the project when and if we move forward...Fingers crossed!
Get to the Doc now so you can find out what is wrong and heal in time for hard core training season! Swimming doesn't bother your arm? Have you mentioned this to the Chiro? Maybe there are some nerves issues that need addressed....
